For Sale: "GUSTY"
Gusty is our 10 month old, liver & white, male, english springer spaniel. He is steady to "wing & shot." He has trained very easily and has a ton of natural ability. It was quickly seen that we had a talented close working pup. He is focused on hunting, yet a very friendly dog.
As far as size goes, Gusty is 42 lbs right now. He's a well balanced dog with good posture and good leg length.
In the field he has shown a quick retrieve, an excellent nose, a soft mouth, good marking ability, a strong flush, and good quartering. The process of steadying to the "wing & shot" went smoothly. He learned quickly with only a soft touch.
We have given "Gusty" good training this spring and summer. He has hours of training under his belt and is ready for this fall hunting season. He's a complete package. He kennels well, is a good traveler, loves the water, has been introduced to game birds, and we will also introduce the "E" collar if desired.
